Directions and Parking

The Penn Ice Rink is easily accessible by car, foot and public transportation. Parking is available close to the rink, but please read the information regarding parking carefully to ensure you are parking in a public location.

By Foot:

The main entrance is located at ground level on the east side of the rink (facing Center City). If you are on Walnut Street, stairs leading to the ground level are located on the west end of the rink on the Walnut Street level. 

Public Transportation:

The rink is served by SEPTA bus routes 21 and 42 which stop at Walnut Street, (See "By Foot' instructions to locate the main entrance.) The closest Trolley, Subway and Regional Rail stops are 30th street station. More instructions can be found on the SEPTA website.

By Car

You will enter the rink off 31st Street which is accessible off Chestnut Street. In addition to metered street parking, there are three Penn Parking Lots available near the lot: Penn Park Lot, Lower Walnut Lot, and Penn Children's Center lot. Check hours and detail on the Transportation and Parking website or consult the map below.  Please do not park in any "numbered" spaces as these are for facility vehicles only.
