Open Hockey - Returns June 26
Open Hockey Sessions are offered for both novice and experienced players of all ages. Check our schedule for skill levels and times. Full equipment is recommended, and approved HECC hockey helmets are mandatory. Sessions typically develop into a full ice scrimmage game. Please note the following:
- Sessions are limited to 30 skaters and three goalies. (Goalies must register in advance).
- The rink does not supply pucks, participants must supply their own pucks.
- Admission and pricing vary depending on the start time.
- Weekdays before 4pm is $17 ($14 with a PennCard or $15 with other college ID)
- Special evening and weekend slots are $20 to all.
- Schedules are subject to change.
Registration is recommended.
2023-2024 Season Days and Times*
All Skill Levels:
- Wednesdays: 8:15 AM - 9:45 AM
- Fridays: 7:30 AM - 9 AM
Novice (for beginner hockey player):
- Fridays: 10:45 AM - 12:15 PM
Stick and Puck - For all skill levels
- This session starts on non-resurfaced ice and is designed for every player to have a full hour of stickhandling or shooting practice. This is not a scrimmage format. Players skate the entire session with a player-supplied puck.
- Fridays: 2 PM -3 PM
- All sessions $10 to all attendees
